We begin our reflective learning after lunch at beautiful Lake Ohau lodge, situated on the banks of Lake Ohau. The afternoon is packed with inspirational speakers bringing aspects of how culture influences us and the people we care for as they are dying. We are well catered for with a delicious 3 course dinner and able to relax in the bar, games room or hot pools.
After breakfast we continue our learning in the morning, we have a free afternoon for reflection, walks or cycling on the famous alps to ocean track.
On our third day we travel to the local Marae-a-Iwi (Marae for all cultures and Iwi) in Twizel to take a deeper dive into Māori culture (transport provided).
Our final night will be an overnight Marae stay before a shared breakfast and departure.
